The Founding Conference of Lishui Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation Held in Qingtian

On May 28, the founding conference of Lishui Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation was held in our county. The conference heard and reviewed relevant reports of the association, and elected the first council, supervisors and leading bodies of Lishui Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation. Zhou Heping, Vice Mayor and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Lishui Municipal People's Government, relevant county leaders, persons in charge of relevant county (city) departments, and all members of the Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation attended the conference.

The conference elected the first president, vice presidents, secretary-general, council directors and supervisors of the municipal Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation. The unveiling ceremony of the Stainless Steel Industry Chain Federation was held, and plaques were awarded to the president unit, vice president units and director units.

It is reported that the total output value of Lishui's stainless steel-related industries above designated size exceeded 70 billion yuan in 2025, accounting for 26% of the city's total industrial output value above designated size. At present, the city has 285 enterprises above designated size in the stainless steel sector, 8 national-level little giant enterprises (48 in the city), and 3 county-level industry associations established. It has gathered a number of leading key enterprises with important influence at home and abroad such as Qingshan Iron and Steel and Baofeng Special Materials. Qingtian and Songyang have both been listed in the Collaborative Zone of Zhejiang High-end New Materials Advanced Metals and Special Steel Industry Cluster, forming a complete industrial layout of "Qingtian smelting as the leader, Songyang and Longquan pipes as the characteristics, and Suichang special materials as the supplement". The establishment of the federation marks that the stainless steel industry has officially moved from the past "individual combat" to a new pattern of coordinated development of "clenching fingers into a fist".

At present, the global stainless steel industry is accelerating its transformation towards high-end, green and intelligent development. Regional competition is becoming increasingly fierce. The establishment of the municipal-level industrial chain federation is a strategic measure for our city to adapt to the general trend of development, break through bottlenecks, and gather development forces.

In the future, the federation will act as a two-way bridge between the government and enterprises, accurately reflect the demands of enterprises, and help the government make scientific decisions. It will establish standards and brands to build a business card for Lishui manufacturing. It will make up for shortcomings and optimize services to reduce enterprise operation costs.
